About the Role

Due to their continued growth, our client is recruiting a Human Factors specialist. You’ll get to work on meaningful and diverse projects. That’s because breakthrough technology is vital for the future development of global healthcare. By joining this race to invent novel life-changing technologies and products, you’ll help define and develop new medical devices and digital experiences. And this will make a difference in healthcare systems whilst improving the lives of patients across the world.

You’ll get to work on multiple projects concurrently and each one will bring fresh and interesting challenges. You’ll get to translate complex new technologies into simple-to-use, patient-centric solutions.

With the help and support of multidisciplinary project teams, there will be opportunities to create wearable devices with connected ecosystems. You might also develop new surgical imaging systems to enhance a complex procedure. And every project will lean on your ability to empathise with the needs of the end-user.

It’s about using your relentless curiosity to find and create viable solutions.

Every day you’ll get to explore and consider the needs, abilities, and behaviours of people at the centre of the product development process.

Your work could be pivotal to the success of new technologies, products, or services. That’s because you’ll define, design, and lead the product development usability studies. These will inform early concepts and ensure the safety of final designs.

Crucially, you’ll be entrusted to translate insights and research into meaningful design directions. Through teamwork and communication, you’ll incorporate user considerations and ensure the optimum design trade-offs.

In short, this is a fantastically agile client-facing role beyond the realm of traditional Human Factors. Every step of the way, your professional development will be supported by an in-house career coach. You’ll get to master and apply a broad range of skills in a diverse range of contexts. Your learning journey will never stop.

 

 

Requirements

If you’re a Human Factors Consultant with a track record of achievement and academic excellence, it’s likely your CV will appeal to the hiring team. You’ll probably have studied a degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or Psychology.

Our clients’ in-depth interview process will explore how you communicate the value of your work and how you explain complex concepts in a simple way.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a collaborative, analytical, and structured approach to tackling complex technical challenges.
